The epitome of small-town quaint, this is the place you take your NYC friends who came in for the weekend to see the foliage or pick strawberries. Solid beer and wine offerings and a menu that is inspiring without being stuffy. The catfish tacos were perfectly portioned and deliciously executed. My partner’s Greek salad with fish made me crane my neck to get a glimpse. She said it was excellent but selfishly did not offer me a bite. The chocolate pot-de-creme was grainy, however. The cream must not have been hot enough, so the texture was off. Disappointing, but not a spoiler. I will be back often! ”

The open kitchen let us know from the moment we entered that we couldn't order wrong. I asked about grain in a spirit and my server was quick to share the information and then asked if I was grain free. This giving me the opportunity to share that I choose a grain and dairy free diet, making for even greater ease navigating the menu. Punch Buggy cocktail Bacon wrapped dates (no cheese) and a burger with oven roasted potatoes and fresh greens and roasted shallots. No bun or cheese, but didn't feel like anything less than perfection because of the farm fresh ingredients and presentation. And when I asked our server to share her reccomendation for a wine , the result was perfection! ”

I enjoyed seeing the cooks call out for "Service" when a dish was prepared. The food was delicious but I wish my meal had more fish on it for the price point.
